RESEARCH INTEREST

Focusing on the synergistic improvement of rice yield and quality, with particular attention to the appearance quality of rice grains, including chalkiness, grain shape, as well as cooking and eating quality. Our research delves into the genetic inheritance of these related traits and the genetic regulatory networks they are involved in, while also assessing their applied value in rice breeding by design.
