CURRENT POSITION

EDUCATIONS & QUALIFICATIONS

 

1985: graduated from South China Agricultural University. He got bachelor's degree in Crop Genetics and breeding.

1991: received his master's degree in Fujian Agricultural College in June

1995: Got a Ph. D. degree from South China Agricultural University in May

 

EMPOLYMENT EXPERIENCE:

1985 -1995: worked on rice genetic breeding and theoretical research in Fujian Institute of agriculture

1994-1999: went to the Department of Botany of the University of Hong Kong(HKU) to study the reproductive development and inheritance of rice for 6 times ;

  1. to now: engages in researching and teaching of rice genetics and breeding in the South China Agricultural University;

2004: Being a national visiting scholar of higher education and went to Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University to study plant cell biology;

 

RESEARCH INTEREST

  1. Engaged in the protection and innovation of rice germplasm resources, mainly focusing on the key technology and theoretical research of Neo-tetraploid rice
