胡琼波,男,汉族,1963年4月生,湖南岳阳人。博士,教授、博士生导师。
学习与工作经历
1984年7月湖南农业大学植物保护专业获学士学位,

2002年12月湖南农业大学植物病理学专业获硕士学位,

2006年6月华南农业大学农业昆虫与害虫防治专业获博士学位,

2008.11-2011.08,任国家自然科学基金委生命科学部植物保护学学科项目主任(流动编制);

2013年3-5月,美国密苏里大学肯萨斯分校访学研究;

2014年,香港中文大学生命科学学院访学研究。 
主要研究领域 
主要从事真菌生物杀虫剂、虫生真菌毒素及其作用机理研究。研究兴趣集中于虫生真菌菌株收集与筛选、新型真菌制剂加工技术、抗免疫真菌毒素发现与机理等方面。承担“动植物检疫”、“生物制药”、“农药剂型与加工”、“农药生物技术原理与方法”及“植物保护技术与应用(案例分析)”等本科与研究生课程的教学任务。
